Introducing the latest addition to Agua’s expanding and increasingly diverse range of performance fabrics. How to extend the appeal and runaway success of the Tones collection without adding dozens and dozens of new colours was the challenge faced by Agua product development guru Suzanne Ralton.

To meet the challenge Suzanne enlisted the expertise of internationally renowned colourist and textile designer Teresa Collins. Teresa’s philosophy of delivering “colours curated with a discerning eye” to create palettes, modest in terms of numbers that never the less enhance and complement existing colours that ultimately punch above their weight, matched the brief perfectly.

Whilst the professional design and interiors community will be the ultimate arbiters of success, initial reactions have been overwhelmingly positive suggesting that the brief and challenge have been well met.

The added sense of warmth and vibrancy imparted by the new additions incorporating Mustard, Burnt Orange, Forest Green, Petrol Blue and Coral Pink to highlight a few, stands out as soon as the card is opened. These attributes, combined with Tones unique visual and tactile qualities of an unmistakable wool like appearance that is very soft to the touch, in stark contrast to the rough and scratchy feel of many natural wool fabrics are delivered at a price point that has surprised and delighted many.
